What is the difference between prescription nasal allergy sprays?

I've seen various prescription nasal allergy sprays over the years, such as Flonase, Aquacort, Nasocort, Nasonex, etc. My young daughter was prescribed Nasonex. I had Nasocort at home and asked the doctor if she could use that instead, but he said no, definitely only use Nasonex (which she is). Do all the sprays do the same thing? What's the difference in the relief they give?

Can I take Benadryl and Nasonex together?

I am on prescription Nasonex for my allergies, but lately I have been taking Benadryl at night to help me fall asleep. Is it okay to take Nasonex and Benadryl at the same time? One is an antihistamine and one is a corticosteroid spray so I don't see why they would be unsafe to take together, but I was just wondering if anyone else has done the same or been told not to by their doctor for any particular reason.
